- Foo Dog
- Manufacturer: Congregation of Trained Antagonism
- Primary users: Rlaan.
- Civilian availability: Negligible.
- Damage vector: Two mount points, both holding a Jian of Rebuke
- Secondary damage effects: As per Jian of Rebuke
- Badass factor: Low. These drones operate with great autonomy and tenacity, but are not heavily armed. They serve a primarily defensive purpose, spending most of their time serving as point defense platforms that can be deployed further from the primary vessel.
- Ammunition: Reactor fed.
- Mount type(s): Class 1 Rlaan Drone Tube
- Variants/upgrades: None
- Notes:
- Sales text:
- Approximate size: 14x7x7 (packed) - 28x14x14 (radiators unfurled)
- Visual description: The body of the Foo Dog is nearly spherical. The soft radiators that unfurl after launch give it an appearance somewhat suggestive of a shuttlecock. At its heart is a reactor, with weapons and sensors dominating the front face - jutting out far forward from the body proper - and shield/drive emitters covering the remaining available surfaces.
- Yaomo
- Manufacturer: Congregation of Trained Antagonism
- Primary users: Rlaan.
- Civilian availability: Negligible.
- Damage vector: Coherent EM, as per open-cycle modified version of the Qiang of Penetrating Inquiry
- Secondary damage effects: As per Qiang of Penetrating Inquiry
- Badass factor: Medium. While extremely fragile, the Yaomo are quite dangerous to other vessels. They target critical systems, getting as close as necessary to do maximum damage with little concern for their own continued existence, and will continue attacking even if their parent vessel is destroyed. Moreover, once they have exhausted their limited number of shots from their modified laser, they will attempt to ram targets.
- Ammunition: Coolant packs
- Mount type(s): Class 2 Rlaan Drone Tube
- Variants/upgrades: None
- Notes: Tactically, this is the closest thing to a missile that the Rlaan use.
- Sales text:
- Approximate size: 23x12x12 (packed) - 39x23x23 (radiators unfurled)
- Visual description: Similar in many ways to the Foo Dog, but much larger, the most striking difference is the singular lens that dominates the front of this drone, making it look almost like some enormous angry eye is facing its prey.
- Seaxbane
- Manufacturer: Luxury Travel Conglomerate
- Primary users: Civilians of all sort. Used to protect valuable resources, and for general security purposes (will often be found on active patrol in trading areas). They serve much the same purpose as guard dogs.
- Civilian availability: High. Designed for civilian use.
- Damage vector: Varies by mounted weaponry.
- Secondary damage effects: Varies by mounted weaponry.
- Badass factor: Low. The Seaxbane is like a guard dog. In numbers, which they can readily be deployed in on short notice, they are scary if you're a burglar or pirate, or alone, but if you're part of a well armed squad, you can slaughter them before they get close enough to incapacitate you.
- Ammunition: N/A
- Mount type(s): Launched from docking bays or special missile tubes.
- Variants/upgrades: The Seaxbane can mount one light and one medium weapon - they are usually deployed with less-than-lethal weaponry for security roles.
- Notes: The Seaxbane cannot operate autonomously, and must be directly controlled by its launch platform.
- Sales text:
- Approximate size: In order to accommodate tube launch, the Seaxbane is oddly proportioned, capable of fitting in a 20x5x5 meter tube.
- Visual description: The Seaxbane is essentially an engine system and sensors wrapped tightly around two weapons mounts and a cooling system. It is powered by clusters of custom-built micro-reactors, and while capable of solid acceleration, cannot sustain any actions for very long.
